Chocolate melts into chunky fruit pieces as a topping for this classic breakfast, dessert or snack 


Ingredients

Method

  1. Take a large bowl, sift in the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
  2. Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
  3. Melt the butter in a pan or slowly microwave.
  4. Make a hole in the centre of the flour mixture and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter and mix together until smooth.
  5. Take a large frying pan or pancake pan and heat oil on medium to high heat but don't burn.
  6. Using a large serving ladle, put a large scoop of mixture into the centre of the pan, cook for around 60 seconds, then flip it over and cook for another 60 seconds.
  7. Decorate and fill using strawberries, blueberries and Nutella chocolate spread. Dust with icing sugar or melted chocolate for extra points!
