Ingredients

Method

  1. Mix all of the burger ingredients together in a bowl. Season and shape into eight burgers.
  2. Preheat the grill. Arrange the burgers on a baking sheet and put a little butter or margarine and Marmite (if you’re using it) on each one.  Cook under a hot grill for about five minutes on each side until cooked through in the middle.
  3. Alternatively to fry, heat the oil in a frying pan. Fry the burgers for about 5-6 minutes, turning halfway through until lightly golden and cooked through in the middle.
  4. Serve on their own or with mini buns and a little mayonnaise and some of the good, green stuff (salad, shush don’t tell them).
