About
The perfect blend of cream and zest in one sweet spoonful in this Italian favourite
Method
- Pour milk into a saucepan, sprinkle the gelatin over and leave for five minutes.
- Heat the milk on a low heat stirring constantly, do not bring to boil or allow to reach full heat – just warm it enough for the gelatin to melt, which should take a few minutes.
- Add the sugar and continue stirring on the same heat until the sugar has dissolved.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and slowly add in the cream and vanilla extract and whisk well.
- Pour into your individual containers and refrigerate for one hour and 30 minutes.
- Peel the kiwi (leaving ½ to one side) and add to a blender with 2 tablespoons of sugar and blend until smooth.
- Pour the kiwi purée onto the set panna cotta and return to frige for a further 30 minutes.
- Chop the remaining kiwi and place on top along with some grated chocolate.
