About

It’s simple and doesn’t require much, and for a change of taste, add your favourite juice to this delicious snack

Ingredients

Method

  1. To begin, pour the water (380ml) into a pan. Next, add the orange juice (or a fresh juice of your choice) to the water.
  2. Pour over the granulated sugar. Finally, mix in the corn starch and combine well using a hand whisk.
  3. Put the pan on a medium heat and continue to whisk. The mixture should begin to combine and thicken.
  4. Leave the mass in a pan and add the three tablespoons of lemon juice. Continue cooking over a low heat, stirring constantly.
  5. Removing from the heat. Pre-spray a silicone mold with cold water. Pour the warm mass from the pan into the mold to a height of no more than 2-3cm.
  6. Quickly smooth the surface and wait until it solidifies at room temperature. This should take about an hour.
  7. To make the dusting, combine the corn starch and icing sugar. Stir well. Carefully cut the cooled rahat into cubes and roll in the icing sugar mix.
